Rees Viersen didn’t allow a single run as North Springs Spartans defeated Carver 10-0 on Monday. Viersen allowed just three hits.

North Springs Spartans scored four runs in the fifth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Beau Foster, a walk by Jeffrey Taylor, a walk by Josh Smith, and a walk by Rees Viersen.

A single by Jatavious Ponder in the fourth inning was a positive for Carver.

Viersen earned the win for North Springs Spartans. He pitched five innings, surrendering zero runs, three hits, striking out five, and walking zero.

Terrell Glover started the game for Carver. He threw four and a third innings, allowing nine runs, ten hits, and striking out three.

North Springs Spartans collected ten hits. Foster, Luke Shulz, and Smith each collected multiple hits for North Springs Spartans. Smith, Shulz, and Foster all had two hits to lead North Springs Spartans.
