Last month we asked our network to share the places in their state that they thought were the toughest to visit. Nearly 500 stadiums, gyms, pools, and courses were nominated, and now it’s time to crown a winner.

Game Recap

North Springs Spartans won a thriller on Homecoming vs rival Riverwood, by a score of 21-13. The game was back and forth with several big plays made on each side of the ball. Offense was a total effort with a mix of passing and runs. Defense played tough all night. Special team were stellar with blocked field goals, fake punts, and a kick off return for a touchdown. It was a complete team effort. The Spartans are still in the hunt for a playoff berth as we head into our last two region games.

Game Recap

The North Springs Spartans Softball Team won against Riverwood 10 -5 to secure the best of three series. The Lady Spartans will advance to the Region Championship series. Freshman pitcher, Dani Nicholas, earned the win tonight. Mya Hassler led the way with a three hit night while Jessie Deyo followed up with two hits. Dani Nicholas drove in three runs followed by Deyo with two RBI’s. The Lady Spartans Softball Team will play on Thursday at 4 P.M. and 6 P.M. at Decatur to fight for the Region Championship. Good luck girls!!

The North Springs Spartans defeated Riverwood 12-5 in the first game of the best of 3 series in Region Play. Sophomore pitcher, Caroline Bernstein, had the win this game. Caroline Bernstein, Virginia Fuss, Mya Hassler, and Dani Nicholas all had two hits for the game. Congratulations to the Lady Spartans Softball Team!

Game Recap

St. Pius came out strong scoring the first goal of the game just over 2 minutes in, but the Spartans responded quickly scoring less than 20 seconds later to tie, and another goal at the end of the 1st quarter to take the lead. The Spartans never relinquished the lead after that, and held St. Pius scoreless for the entire second half. Goals were scored by Jake Rubin (4), Zachary Schneiderman (2), and Patrick Casey (1). Charley Plumly had 7 saves in goal.
